Placing content on the China Business Review website positions you as a thought leader in the US-China commercial space. Articles on our site reach business executives from a wide spectrum of US-based companies operating across China.

While we accept article submissions from the public at large, publication preference is given to members of the US-China Business Council. Member stories receive placement on the website’s front page and give authors the opportunity to showcase their expertise in the field of bilateral business relations.

Guidelines:

China Business Review accepts submissions on any topic related to helping US companies do business in China. We report on anything that impacts that relationship, including government, politics, trade, human relations, the environment, culture, and labor issues. Any article submitted to us must be original and exclusive to China Business Review. We will not consider article ideas, but only complete abstracts not exceeding one page. Consult our guidelines for writing a story here.

Submissions should be sent to Erin Slawson at [email protected]. Submissions sent to the wrong inbox are unlikely to be reviewed.

We do our best to review all submissions in a timely manner. Lengthier articles will take longer to evaluate. We reserve the right to edit all submissions for clarity.

While we have no formal word count requirement, we only rarely accept submissions that exceed 2,000 words. Please incorporate hyperlinks to sources for any important factual assertions that you make.

Prospective authors are required to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest, including but not limited to any financial interest in any product, firm, or commercial venture relevant to their submission. Failure to do so will result in prominently placed corrections.

The US-China Business Council retains all rights to articles and artwork published in The China Business Review. Articles or artwork published in The China Business Review may be reprinted or reproduced only with the written permission of the US-China Business Council. Please allow us five business days (i.e., excluding weekends and holidays) for us to review your work; we cannot accept for review any submissions that do not allow for this time frame. Please do not send follow-up emails. If you have not heard from us after five business days have elapsed, feel free to submit your article elsewhere.
